Work in any medium in congenial company. Easels and tables are provided. It is a very quiet and pleasant evening and the two hours fly by.
Everyone takes his or her own work and materials in any medium. Many do works on paper and as they work on a smaller scale sit round the large table. There is plenty of room to spread out.
There is a great atmosphere of helpfulness and encouragement evident among the Open Studio folks. And a great deal of talent.
Recently the group ( i.e. some members in the group) decided to draw hands and feet. Janet and Alison thus duly shed their shoes and socks and drew each others' feet. When we got bored with that we drew other members at work. Alan and Barry continued with their watercolors, but Pat and Peter joined in the fun and drew Alison and Janet!

Another evening Barry and Alan got into the swing of things and suggested doing 2 x 2 inch studies, but Alison pretended she didn't have the correct materials and continued with her pastel flowers.
